Mixing dirty honky-tonk and southern rock with
elements of down home bluegrass and raucous roadhouse blues, Dallas Moore
has developed a nationwide grass-roots following as a modern day icon of
Outlaw Country Music.
With The Release of 2009's "Can't Tame a
Wildcat" on SOL Records and it's
subsequent hit songs "Outlaw Country" , "That Girl" and the anthemic "Damn
Sure Works For Me" receiving heavy airplay on Sirius/XM as well as Americana
/AAA/Texas Red Dirt Radio, Dallas and his band have set the stage for 2010
to be their best year ever with a North American Tour slated to support the
forthcoming release "Last Man Standing".
Stewed and brewed in the honky-tonks, motorcycle
rallies and concert halls of America, Dallas and his band The Snatch
Wranglers have kept up a relentless tour schedule supporting the royal
heirarchy of Outlaw Country and Southern Rock Legends Willie Nelson, David
Allan Coe, Merle Haggard, The Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd, as
well as modern day keepers of the Outlaw flame, Shooter Jennings and white
hot country duo Montgomery Gentry. 2009 found Dallas earning his way into
the headlining spot and did not disappoint, as he and the band
developed their energy, attitude, and authenticity into one of the best live
acts onstage on any given night. The band has also made several television
appearances including the Travel Channel documentary STURGIS: The GREAT
RIDE, Broken Spoke Journeys Series which aired on Fox Network, Discovery
Channel and Speedvision, Fox 7 News, Austin Texas, KET taping of Studio
89 and an appearance on ESPN2 playing music for a crowd of over 64,000 at
Captain Robbie Kneival's death defying jump over 24 Coke Zero Trucks at
Kings Island Amusement Park. Two songs written and performed by Dallas were
also featured in the major motion picture "Nice Guys Sleep Alone",
giving Moore's incisive songwriting abilities world wide exposure as the
only "unknown artist" on a soundtrack featuring cuts by Willie Nelson, Lyle
Lovett, and David Allan Coe.
The band has also received an unprecedented 12
CAMMY Awards from The Cincinnati Enquirer including Best Country Band, Best
Country Vocalist, Songwriter of the Year and CD of the year for "Live - Back
At The Saddle" as well as 4 CEA (Cincinnati Entertainment Awards) including
2009's Country Artist Of The Year, The C.U.L.A.N. Music appreciation award
2009 and The Horizon Award from the Southern Music Hall Of Fame published by
Gritz Magazine.
