Hey Y'all,

Runnin' a l'il behind on July's update and newsletter ... things have been SOOO crazy, I'm just catchin' up to myself. Sheeeeew Piney! Here's some highlites, lowlifes and random ramblins' from Honky Tonk Headquarters!

*Update on Trucker ... our brother, road manager, bus driver and handler, Trucker, underwent triple bypass surgery on June 25th. Thanks to ol' Truck' fightin' spirit and all y'alls prayers and well wishes,the surgery was successful and he was released to go home on July 2. 'all keep him in your thoughts and prayers as he has a long recovery ahead of him. As y'all know, Trucker's the go and I'm the show and I need my ol' huntin' buddy back burnin' it down with me. Six days on the road and we're gonna make it home tonite. God Bless Brother Trucker!

*Hittin' Close To Home ... after rockin' the last couple months mostly on the road between New York and Carolina and all points in between, we are spending all of July in Ohio and Indiana before we hit the road for the ENTIRE month of August. Every Tuesday, I'll be kickin' out the badass solo acoustic jams at Yardbirds Southern BBQ in Trenton, OH (7:30-10:30). We'll also have the whole damn band rockin' the Bird on Friday. July 9 as a make-up show for the July 2 show that I had to cancel due to a l'il run in with a case of Strep Throat. I'm all healed up and 100% back in black and ready to ride so y'all git amongst it with us all month long at The Bird!

*Boogie 2010 ... finally, after a few years off, we are returning to the main stage at A.B.A.T.E. of Indiana's Boogie 2010 in Bedford, IN! This is the Midwest's Biggest Biker Fest and throughout the weekend will also feature performances by .38 Special, Duke Tomato, and our brothers Eclipse to name just a few. This is one event NOT to be Missed and coming on the heels of our ass kickin' jam at The Harley Rendevous up in New York we are raisin' the Bar on Hellraisin' Motorcycle Parties. Y'all are in for a good'n! Long Live the BOOGIE!!

*Live at Red Rock and Seein' Ya in Xenia ... Two shows of note this month are the return visit to Red Rock Tavern in Mason, OH on Friday the 23rd. This is one KICK ASS NEW venue and a great place to catch the Redneck Rock-n-Roll Show. Great food and spirits, plenty of room to move around and shake yer thang, but still up close and personal enuff to gitcha a l'il scratchin'. Hell yeah! July 31st finds us rollin' up north to All Sports Pub and Music Hall in Xenia, OH. This is a favorite tour stop of ours and you NEVER know whats gonna happen. Truly a WILD time EVERY time. Hell yeah!

*Roosterbend ... Saturday, July 24th, we once again converge on the grounds of ROOSTERBEND for our annual throwdown and all nite jam! This one is by invite only so if'n ya wanna come, make nice with some of us and git yer ass an invite to one of the BEST parties of the summer. On a personal note, July 24th is also my family reunion in the afternoon and we are celebrating my mom and dad, Dallas Sr. and Madgelee Moore's 55th wedding anniversary. Congrats and all the love in the world to the best parents in the world. I love you both and am so proud of you for bein' together 55 years. LOVE!

*Wet N Wild Whiskey Wednesdays ... Every Wednesday, we are holdin' court at The Knotty Pine Bar in White Oak, OH. Always a FREE show with drink specials and special guests stoppin' by to sit in and jam. July will feature two very special guests performing with us. First up on July 14th, our great friends Kelly Thomas (Kelly Thomas & The Fabulous Pick-Ups) and Ryan Malott (500 Miles To Memphis) will be joining our show for a sweet acoustic set of original badass tunes and on July 28th our SOL Records label mates 5th On the Floor will be rollin' in bringin' the Ol' Kentucky smackdown all the way from Lexington supportin' their latest SOL Records release "Dark and Bloody Ground". Every Wednesday is all the way crazzzzee, but DEFINITELY DO NOT MISS these two special jams!

*Southern Fried Sundays ... Soak up the sun with us all month long every Sunday at Win, Place or Show in West Chester, OH from 5-9 live on the outdoor deck stage. These shows are really laid back and the chance to hear my latest and greatest tunes hot off the pen, straight to the shot glass and then right in your face! Always free and grillin steaks and burgers and open to all ages! Check it out and getcha some o'dat dere SUMMERTIME FUN!

*Touchdowns and Jens ... Thursday nites find me splittin two and two with Touchdowns Tavern in Lockland, OH on July 8th and 29th and Jen's Bar and Grill in Liberty Township, OH on July 15 and 22. Both places are really laid back and I'm usually joined by some damn fine pickers and singers. Ya never know who's gonna show up to jam and get the righteous ride a rollin' on. Also make note of a VERY special 3-piece acoustic show at Touchdowns on Friday July 16, featuring Me, Lucky Chucky and Reverend Bob in a RARE trio setting. That gets a BIG HELL YEAH!
