*NEW RECORDING: We are entering SOL RECORDS STUDIO the 2nd week of January to record our next full length Cd Release “Blessed Be The Bad Ones.” I have had this entire collection of new original music written and put together for awhile.  Some of the tunes have been played Live in our show and are already crowd favorites, while others will be laid down for the 1st time in the studio and will be totally fresh to your ears.  We are looking for an early Summer release date and can’t wait to make the Best Record of our Career.  Stay tuned for more updates at  http://www.dallasmoore.com/ 

*NEW TOUR DATES: Please check our Tour Dates often at http://www.dallasmoore.com/ as we are fixin’ to hit the road harder than ever in 2011.  For January and February we are stickin’ fairly close to home so we can make the “Blessed Be The Bad Ones” Cd in between show dates.  That means you can catch us most every night of the week onstage in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.  Once we get into Spring & Summer look for us comin’ to YOUR town as we take the Redneck Rock n Roll Show out on the Road.  Dates are currently in the works for Florida, Alabama, North and South Carolina, Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana.  We are also looking at doing a string of dates in the North East, i.e. New York, New Hampshire and Maine as well as our 1st dates in the South West. Y’all keep checkin’ back as dates are being posted as they come in and they are coming fast!

We’re kickin’ and pickin’ for December, 2012! We are so excited to have released our new CD “HANK TO THANK: Live at Herzog Studios featuring Jody Payne” (legendary guitarist from Willie Nelson and Family).The disc was recorded at Historic Herzog Studio on the 61st Anniversary of Hank Williams’ Cincinnati Recording sessions that yielded such timeless country classics as “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” and “Lovesick Blues.” We were very honored to be joined onstage by my Mom, Madgelee Moore for a haunting version of “I’m so Lonesome I Could Cry” with me, Mom and Jody gathering around one microphone in the very spot where Hank had recorded the song 61 years earlier. Truly a highlight of my life!

*Southgate House Farewell Jam: The Historic Southgate House in Newport, KY is closing it’s doors after New Years Eve. This has been one of the premiere music venues in the midwest and will be sorely missed. I am told that it will reopen in a new location in 2012. Join us for one last jam in the hallowed old mansion on Thursday, December 29th for an all acoustic show featuring Sol Records artists Dallas Moore, Pure Grain and Justin Wells of Fifth On the Floor. Area label Sol Records is taking pre-orders now for the Dallas Moore Band’s next release, Hank To Thank, culled from the locally-based Country crew’s sessions one year ago with longtime Willie Nelson guitarist Jody Payne at the site of Cincinnati’s Herzog studios where Hank Williams laid down some of his early, big hits.

Everyone who pre-orders the release will receive an instant download of the first single, “Carolina Sunshine” (which is receiving airplay already on satellite radio), as well as a signed and hand-numbered CD, which will be delivered before the Nov.
