Country-western singer Dallas Moore entertained fourth and fifth grade students at his alma mater, Sharpsburg, April 27.  Mr. Moore graduated from Norwood High School in 1988.

He is a recent recipient of The Cammy Award, which recognizes the best in local entertainment.  He performs locally, has made several recordings and will soon embark on a tour with country legend Merle Haggard.

After singing for the children about 20 minutes, Mr. Moore stayed to talk with the children and signed a photograph of himself for each one.
